Our apiaries are located in Susquehanna county, Pennsylvania, in the middle of farm country and in Monroe and Pike Counties, Pennsylvania, in the Pocono Mountains. We currently run 150 hives in 8 locations. Each year, we expand a bit more due to the demand for high quality raw honey. With thousands of acres of fields and trees surrounding our hives, we are able to collect some wonderful varieties of honey. In Spring, we get Black Locust, Tulip Poplar, Blackberry and Raspberry blooms in addition to the multitude of other nectar sources. Summer can bring a large basswood harvest, and in the Fall our Japanese Knotweed, Golden Rod and Aster bloom is a big producer. Depending on many factors such as weather, timing, hive strength, etc, at times we can collect a honey that is a varietal of one plant, but in many cases, the honey is a mixture of many plant nectars. No matter, all honey is wonderful, natural, and healthy.
